The Welding Supervisor responsibilities are extensive and will occur at various stages of the Fabrication process , the Visual Inspection and Supervision of all Welding will help the Welding Supervisor assure each specific task has been performed. An Inspection Checklist is created to help the Welding Supervisor during this process

BEFORE WELDING
 Review documentation and Shop Drawings
 Check Welding procedures
 Check Welder Qualifications
Develop Weld Plan for recording and maintaining Inspections

 Monitor NDT testing

AFTER WELDING
 Check weld appearance

 Check weld length
 Check dimensional accuracy of weld
 Monitor additional NDT testing
 Prepare Inspection reports

Inspection 100 % Visual Inspection by Welding Inspector IWI Qualification

The only way a Visual Inspection can be considered effective is to apply that Inspection at every step of the Fabrication process. The main reason to perform the Inspection on a continuing basis is to discover problems as soon as they occur so they can be corrected most efficiently. The Visual Inspection is therefore performed Before, During and After Welding.

All our Projects are Supervised by AS 2214 Welding Supervisor [ Andy ] and is supported in both Vietnam Factories by Fully Qualified Welding Inspectors and Welding Engineers.
